Bayern sends Badshtuber on loan
Former German midfielder Holger Badshtuber will try to regain his form in Schalke.
Badshtuber in recent seasons can not find her form, primarily due to severe injuries, but excellent defender does not intend to give up, so he asked the management of Bayern being sent on loan to another club to try to return to form
"I just want to play. It is the beginning and end of everything. I spent too much time sitting on the bench and players recovering from injuries, "said Badshtuber German media.
If the transfer is completed by the end of the winter transfer window, Schalke will have the opportunity to redeem his entire contract after the current season.
Badstuber's contract expires in the summer and last week a source close to the player told ESPN FC that Manchester City, coached by ex-Bayern boss Pep Guardiola, were interested in him.
Badstuber, 27, has suffered five serious injuries since 2012 but battled back to full fitness on every occasion. His latest return to first team action came after an absence of 259 days.
This season he has played 90 minutes only once as an experimental Bayern side lost to Champions League newcomers FC Rostov in November.
